8 weeks on Tuesdays via Zoom, NVC “beyond the intro” practice group — unstructured

This group will be informal with no specific lesson plan. Each session will involve participants sharing the stuff of their lives that have stimulated challenges. We will learn from each other and discuss how Nonviolent Communication skills can impact the day-to-day challenges we face. This group is good for folks who have been through previous groups of mine and would like more time to share amongst the participants, with practical application of the skills. Note: this is not therapy, but application of NVC skills.

Tuesdays 4-5:30pm ET, July 8-Aug 26 VIA ZOOM

I have a suggested cost of $160 for the 8 sessions. No one will be turned away due to finances. As an added bonus, I would like to offer each participant a free one-hour private session. If finances are easy for you, you are welcome to contribute more to help cover the fees of others who are unable to pay as much.

Introductory practice group with no NVC experience required.

The 1st two sessions will be an introduction to NVC.

The following 6 sessions will involve deepening the skills.

Participants should have at least some introductory knowledge of NVC, that is, you have read the book or have previous NVC experience.

All 8 sessions will involve deepening the skills with a mix of teaching and practice.

Julie will explore the role of “uncertainty” as it relates to our practice of Nonviolent Communication (NVC), as well as sharing research related to the value of uncertainty in building resilience, creating possibility and expanding our world view.

We will explore Uncertainty as a group as well as in dyads.
